This project is focussed on developing an app that solves personal mobility needs elegantly. "memo pix" is a way to meaningfully maps locations rather than using real proportions and distances. It uses a mental map to store and add locations only to the areas of the town that the user lives in or travels to and blends out parts of the city that are neglected by the user. Available information of public transportation services and other sources become integrated into the user's personal calendar. Through the location mapping and the calendar feature time and place get linked. The distorted representation helps to show all relevant details, thus the effort of zooming is reduced. The geography is transformed into an abstract grid add details are added to areas of interest. |
